Family Law Practice Manual

When I first wrote the Family Law Practice Manual in 1985, it was intended to be a practical guide for the Leo Cussen Institute’s Practical Training Course. Leo Cussen kept their own course with only some of my Chapters. However, the Family Law profession took it up and it is now what it is. A practical manual on handling Family Law cases. No case law, just “how to” complete documents and manage cases cost effectively.

Whilst the target audience is the beginner or part time family lawyer, the experienced practitioner will still benefit by being easily able to refresh their knowledge on practical issues. The astute Law Clerk and Personal Assistant will also benefit.

An advantage of the on line edition is the ability to include several precedents on the same issue, to give broader guidance on the topic. Based in Victoria, I am aware of the subtle differences between Registries and address them where I can. I welcome any constructive comments in this regards and the Manual generally.
